:: Colorado 2010 ::  August 7-14
  • Transportation of your bike, gear bag, suit case, and
    one reasonable sized box of spares and supplies
  • Transportation to and from the Colorado Springs airport
    at the a designated time
  • Motel for 7 nights with double occupancy and
    continental breakfast
  • Tools and minor mechanical assistance.
  • Maps and GPS coordinates where available
  • This is a "RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK" event
  • Payment in full by June 30th. Cash, Check, or Credit
    Card accepted
  • If for any reason the trip gets cancelled, all payments will
    be returned in full by July 15th. If you cancel after June
    15th, your deposit will be lost.
  • The fee is $1450 for the trip.
  • Your bike and gear need to be dropped off by July 29th
    and they will be back by August 21th
  • For every person you get to sign-up with you, you will
    receive a $100 credit towards your trip.
  • This is YOUR vacation. Do what you want when you
    want. Wives are welcome at an additional fee.
  • Price based on current fuel prices. A possible fuel surcharge if they go nuts!

:: Bike Requirements ::

A semi street legal appearing machine
  • Licence plate
  • Head and Tail light (work or not)
  • Mirror and Horn (fold away mirror and squeeze horn)
  • Mechanically sound to do up to 100 miles a day
  • Trail side tools and spares
  • Fuel Tank capable of 70 plus miles
  • Jetted for 8000ft altitude
  • Quiet.....Exhaust system that will not wake up the town

          In a nut shell, it just has to look legal



  • Reasonably fit to handle high altitude
  • Riding gear for cool mornings and warm afternoons and
    enough for a week
  • A large hydration system
  • First Aid kit / tow rope / compass or GPS
  • Spare unique parts for your bike, I carry the basics

Rooms are already booked
for Crested Butte Colorado.
We are staying right on the
edge of  town with gas
available right next door and
a 2 block walk into town
where restaurants and
nightly entertainment are
available!
